Sweet & Sassy
Members of our quartet are three experienced barbershoppers and
one fairly new one. Dot Schneider (pictured right), our tenor, has been
singing since she was in high school and grew up in a barbershopping
family. Alice Greene (second from right) who sings lead, is a charter member of Song O'
Sky. Barbara Reid (left) is our bass. Our rookie member is Laura Mahan (second from
left) sings baritone.
Laura and her husband, Hal, own a retail store in Asheville's Historic Biltmore
Village called
The Compleat
Naturalist, selling all kinds of nature study tools and supplies, plus
nature-oriented gifts.
